Soprano Sunday- Soprano Art and Video Gallery– The end is near.
We are posting Soprano Sunday a little early this week because this is it, the end, and we have a lot to cover. This week’s edition is focused on the fans and the culture surrounding the Sopranos. We have gathered all of the Soprano art done by fans and/or professional artists and put them in this gallery. If you see your art here and it is not properly credited or you would like it removed, please let us know. We are also including Sopranos fan tribute videos we’ve come across.
Let’s open the gallery with this piece by Annie Leibowitz. This image was recently featured on Popped Culture as part of a Last Supper retrospective. It was actually our favorite of the collection.
A comic by John Cassady. Love Melfy in this.
From deviant Art a Pixel Boxnet , loving the bunny slippers.
Mort Druker’s take for Mad Magazine

A Salon Brady Bunch parody piece, artist unknown.
Artists unknown, found on Hardly Art
A really nice charcoal or pencil drawing by a fan called animeartist1 from Fan Central. Artists name is difficult to read, any info would be appreciated.
A water color by M. Badilo, an interesting contrast of medium and subject matter.
This piece is part of a banned political ad. There were several images that had HBO in a litigious tail spin. This one is our favorite.
Sopranos Made Men by Robert Stephen Simon.
Tom Richmond’s Soprano’s Behind the Scenes for Mad Magazine
Cartoon Strips get in on the fun. Arming the 3 Tenors is our fave.
Fox Trot, kind of meh but this one’s not bad.
This one, from the New Yorker, isn’t really specific to the Sopranos but it’s hilarious. It could have been framed around a Blockbuster Video store and been even funnier.
Sopranos in Pop Culture- You could catch a stage version or find out if you’re a Soprano look-alike. There were tours in New Jersey and you could even map the shoot locations on Google maps or buy souvenirs from Cleaver. Here are a few of our favorite fun Soprano finds..
We love Pin Ball, our usual machine is the Addam’s Family but that’s only because we’ve never even seen this beauty from Stern. Visit Pinball News for a super in-depth review of this machine. It’s got everything, the duck, the strippers, Bada Bing’s plus a gazillion references for the real Sopranos fan. Must. Have. One.
Ok ,here’s the BIG questions, we got a MatchBox car, a Pin Ball Machine, tons of Soprano branded merchandise, but no ACTION FIGURES? WTF!!!!! Help us Todd MacFarlane, you’re our only hope.
Soprano books glaore, you can entertain like Carmella or manage your crew Tony style. Get ‘em at Amazon.
Sopranos Cigars landed Tony on teh cover of Cigar Afficianado.
Sleep with the fishes or become a made man in the Sopranos’s video game for the PS2, the choice is yours.
Video of the making of the game, the interviews are GREAT! Pussy’s back! It’s really interesting to watch them record the voices.
Mad TV Parody
And of course, The Simpranos
